Assignment 22

Assignment 22 1)  https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=xU53LgV_5d0&feature=share 2) I think this third pitch really helped me make the little changes I needed. I think there were not many issues from my last pitch, and I think this time everything went smooth. The fan obviously was an original issue, but now I think with that solved everything seemed to just be intact. The feedback was very helpful and I was happy to fix the issues that I may have not caught by myself. 3) I did not really change much at all honestly, and I think the feedback did not need me to change much. Being more excited was one thing, but they liked the usage of my hands and everything, so I just enjoyed giving the pitch this time. The feedback helped make me create an amazing pitch.

Ayaz Ali - Assignment 21

Assignment 21 Reading Reflection No. 2 The book I chose was "How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big", by Scott Adams The general theme of this book was that you can fail and that is okay. The author explained many instances as to how many famous people failed. They failed many, many times, but the idea of failure is not as bad as it seems. Everyone has to fail to make it big. The author explained how many famous creators and people did not start off at a young age. Many of these people struggled early in their lives, but then kept working at their goals and eventually made it. Never quit, and do not ever be afraid to lose. In my opinion, this book connects perfectly with this class and what we are learning. Sometimes your ideas may not work out the way you want them to, and there will be times when you hear very discouraging responses, but you have to keep going. Learning how to take constructive criticism is very key to being a successful entreprene...

Ayaz Ali - Assignment 20

Assignment 20 1) Domain Expert: I would look at John Riley to be my domain expert in my company, as he is also working with metal detector products. John has been working with metal detectors for 10 years now and he is very devoted to the product. I think bringing him into the industry will aid the company and the product as a whole. John is a 42 year old male, who is married with 2 kids. He is from Italy and has been living in the US his entire life. I met him through other mutual connections and wanted to bring him aboard. 2)Market Expert: I was thinking of bringing in the profound seller, Will Banks aboard for this industry. Will has tons of experience selling products and he has many connections and he will do a great job of selling our product and making it go big. He is a 34 year old male and is currently engaged. He has been living here in the US his entire life and I met him from an online source.  3)Supplier: The industry would look at Jackson Bridges as a sup...

Ayaz Ali - Assignment 19

Second Shot at Idea Napkin 1) You: I think I am quite the group partner. I explained this in the previous idea napkin, I love working in groups and letting everyone input their own ideas and allowing everyone to feel as if their ideas are important. I have worked in many groups before and I think over time I became better with working in them and learning how to voice my opinion and allow everyone to voice theirs. I am kind and will never put anyone down for any input they give. It is all about the way you present yourself, and I think I work hard, stay focused, and a great team leader. I think my ability to present in great detail, and also my enthusiasm will allow people to really see how valuable my product can be and how much of a positive impact it can have on the world.  2)What I am offering: My product, a metal detector device which can be implemented in schools will allow for much safer safety precautions in schools and will allow for people to be more comfortable ...

Ayaz Ali _ Assignment 17

Assignment 17 1)  https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=xU53LgV_5d0&feature=share 2) I think other students gave me really good feedback on my original pitch, and the critiques they gave me were great. They explained how they liked my idea and enthusiasm, but maybe turning the fan off in the background would be less distracting, which is something I am definitely looking into changing. I did not think anyone gave me any silly reviews, as everything seemed legit and really helped me make a better pitch next time around. 3) I pretty much kept the same ideas and also turned off the fan and tried to take away from any distracting features in the background. I felt my original pitch was good and informative and also I think it got the point across in a great way.

Ayaz Ali - Assignment 18

Image
Assignment 18 I believe my customer avatar would be a school security guard, Jason. This security guard went through college and simply did not really like the major he chose and decided to make an impact in being a security guard. He is the youngest brother of four and he grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. Jason drives a Toyota Corolla which is black and also lives by himself currently. His favorite show is Game of Thrones and he watches it addictively. He is currently not married or in a relationship, but he has time as he is still only 26. He likes his job and where he is in life, but he would eventually like to move on to bigger things. The things I think I have in common with my avatar is that we both believe in school safety and want the best for students and workers. We really are not                                                    ...
