Ayaz Ali - Assignment 19

Second Shot at Idea Napkin

1) You: I think I am quite the group partner. I explained this in the previous idea napkin, I love working in groups and letting everyone input their own ideas and allowing everyone to feel as if their ideas are important. I have worked in many groups before and I think over time I became better with working in them and learning how to voice my opinion and allow everyone to voice theirs. I am kind and will never put anyone down for any input they give. It is all about the way you present yourself, and I think I work hard, stay focused, and a great team leader. I think my ability to present in great detail, and also my enthusiasm will allow people to really see how valuable my product can be and how much of a positive impact it can have on the world. 

2)What I am offering: My product, a metal detector device which can be implemented in schools will allow for much safer safety precautions in schools and will allow for people to be more comfortable in the learning environment. It will allow for security guards to feel better about who or what comes in schools and also will make their jobs easier.

3) Who I am offering to: I am offering this to schools, so it will have a impact on many people. In the end, people want to feel safe in their schools environments and not worry about the possible threat of any kind, especially gun violence. All my customers are technically anyone that goes to school, so this will be beneficial to many people.

4) Why do they care: In this day and age we see many dangerous happening and far too often. We see gunners shooting schools up, we see kids bringing dangerous weapons of all kinds to school campuses, and it really has no need to be there. This idea will help solve this issue and will make everyone feel more comfortable and safe in their learning environments.

5)Core Competencies: I think my experience in presenting many different ideas and concepts allows me to feel comfortable presenting anything. Working with groups allowed me to learn different way to handle different situations. Starting from high school, I used to be scared to present or anything like that, but I gained much knowledge and confidence over the years and make very persuasive pitches about ideas. I think that is what truly makes me different.

I think these elements will help me persuade many people as to why this idea is necessary in schools, and I think many people will agree with me. Violence is slowly taking over our world and we have to do something to at least try and stop the bleeding. I think the implementation of this idea will help people greatly all over the world.
