Assignment 23 - What Makes You So Special
- Human Capital - I think everyone in the company will have a great source of knowledge about the product, and therefore will allow it to be talked about greatly in any instance.
- Social Capital - This goes back to the idea above, but one of the main goals of the company or producing the product is that we want everyone to feel like their opinion matters and that everyone can feel comfortable speaking their minds and throwing out any ideas they want.
- Financial Capital - This product really does not cost a lot, and we should have no issue producing any amounts of it.
- Development Team - We as a company want to continue to develop our product and make the product in the most efficient way possible.
- Product availability - This product is meant to be a major key for schools, but we do plan to make more than enough to help it get to everyone that it is needed for.
My company really did not need close to 10 resources, because I think these are all valuable enough. I think the most important resource is human capital because it shows how much everyone who is working with the product really cares about it. It shows everyone is here for a purpose and not just trying to make money.

ReplyDeleteYou definitely hit on the main couple of resources you'd need to start the business. A few others you'll need will be suppliers of the various parts to make the detectors, a distribution network to get the products to the schools, an install team to assemble and test the products, a support team for any issues you have with the products, and a sales team to work on getting the lobbying support of school district boards and the board of directors for private schools.
