Assignment 11 - Piecing It All Together
- You: My name is Ayaz Ali and I am currently a sophomore, computer science major. I think I work really well in planning, marketing, and establishing ideas. In high school I was a part of the entrepreneurship club, DECA, for three years. I learned many entrepreneurship ideas and worked on many projects and I really fell in love with being an entrepreneur. My goal for this idea would definitely be to start it up as soon as I can. I believe this idea will help a lot with many of our safety issues in school and it should be implemented soon. I believe it will help me because I know something is being done about safety issues, and I would hope that many people can get behind the idea as well.
- What are you offering to your customers? I am providing customers a sense of feeling safe and comfortable in their school environments. Customers of this product can ensure safety in schools as well as show their workers and students that they are trying to make a change.
- Who are you offering it to? I am offering this product to school heads I would say. The administration or whoever is in charge of the school would be able to purchase this product and it will be for the entire school.
- Why do they care? As a leader of a school, you have the responsibility of ensuring safety throughout campuses and making sure people feel okay with coming to school and not worrying about their lives being at risk. This product will also make it easier for workers who have to watch over the school and protect the students and other workers.
- What are your core competencies? This product exists of course, and has many different types. I would make a slight few changes, but for the most part its about implementing the idea on school grounds. This idea has not been placed in schools and I think it definitely should soon.
- I think this idea would not really affect people who do not agree with the idea. Many people technically were not against the idea, but just thought it was unnecessary. I think this idea will be okay with people who have a weaker opinion on it. In the end, I think it will change some people's thoughts about how well the idea could actually be.

ReplyDeleteI like your business idea. Regarding people thinking that your idea might be unnecessary maybe you could create campaigns to create awareness in schools and universities. It is kind of sad reading that most of your interviewees think your product is unnecessary because of what is currently going on in the country. It is not normal to have so many school shootings in the country and that needs to be emphasized. Keep the hard work!

ReplyDeleteYou are definitely coming along with this idea. I think the targets should be school principals/boards for independent schools, but it will actually be the superintendents of the school districts for public schools. Keep it up!
Shalom Ayaz, well done organizing your post, it was easy to read and follow! I think safety for the students in schools is imperative, so I think you can definitely target heads of schools and see if it spreads. Great job with your idea, but I was wondering what an MVP version of your product would look like.

I think your post was greta, easy to read and had some amazing information about what the product has to offer to your customers and how it can help others that they are teaching. I agree that the idea would change people's thoughts. Great post!
